Privacy & cookies policy
What is a cookie?
Cookies are small data files which are sent to your web browser
and stored electronically. They act as your personal identity
online - for example they can be used so your login details can be
remembered next time you visit as website.
Can I opt-out of receiving cookies?
Yes. There are a number of options available; you can set your
browser either to reject all cookies, to allow only “trusted”
websites to set them, or to accept them only from a particular
website.
It is important to remember though that some aspects of this
website, such as the online course booking system, rely on cookies
as a crucial part of its functionality.
What cookies are used on The Mansion
House website?
Google AdWords
You may have come across this website via an advert hosted on
the Google Display Network. We use Google AdWords (an online
advertising platform) to make sure our websites appeal to those who
will be most interested in our messages. AdWords uses contextual
targeting to match adverts to relevant websites, using
keywords or topics among other factors.
Visit Google's website for more information.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to track visitors to our website. For
example, it allows us to view data on how many people are browsing
the website on a mobile device so we can seek to improve their
online browsing experience. Whilst Google Analytics allows us to
track your progress through our site we are not able to track you
directly – only that an unidentified user has accessed the page and
browsed the content.
Visit
Google's website for information on opting out of these
services and changing your privacy settings.
Social media (Facebook & Twitter)
We use the official 'sharing tools' of the above social media
websites. These widgets give you the functionality to
blog, share, tweet and email content on the website to a friend. If
you have a cookie stored already with one of the social media
websites (for example, if you're logged into Facebook) our website
will recognise this, saving you the hassle of having to login
again.
JotForm
We use JotForm for all our online form submissions, such as the
Contact Us form, or the Open Day registration form. All form
submissions are submitted to a secure database where they are
archived for potential future reference. None of your details are
shared with any third parties, and we will only add your email
address to any mailing list with your granted permission.
Visit JotForm's website for
information on their privacy policies.
