The Mansion House is managed by
Bedford College Services on behalf of the Shuttleworth Trust.
The Trust was established in 1944 by Dorothy Clotilda Shuttleworth
in memory of her son Richard.
THE MANSION HOUSE MISSION:
We provide unique and memorable customer
experiences in a historic country house setting with award-winning
food and unrivalled service and value.
In doing so we ensure we honour our
environmental responsibilities, create good returns to reinvest
into the local community, and provide an environment in which our
staff excel and feel there is no better place to work -
creating a ‘can-do’ culture.
STAR PERFORMERS
The team at The Mansion House won the Small/Medium Sized
Business of the Year at the 2011 Rising Stars, Bedfordshire and
Luton Business Excellence Awards on Thursday 10 November 2011. We
continued this in 2012 with a 'Highly Commended' award. We
also won Gold at the 2012 FSB Bedfordshire Awards.
